Happy Halloween

It is fair to say that Liam is rather fond of this holiday we call Halloween. He enjoyed everything about this American holiday from A to Z. Each year we head off to the same pumpkin patch to find the best pumpkins. Each of these family events have become that much more special as we can all vividly recall conversations from the past several years where we had talked about who would be holding Lilly's hand or who would be pushing her stroller. The best part about it is that Lilly was a Liam. I am sure God smiled down upon our family during each of those conversations as He knew what the outcome would be :)))

The kid's have taken more to carving their pumpkins than painting but scooping out the guts has pretty much fallen under dad's jurisdiction as the kid's each squeal when they reach into the belly of their pumpkins. Liam was intrigued with what daddy was doing and of course we let him check it out. In large contrast to his siblings, he LOVED reaching into the guts! He diligently reached in and kept working to scoop the pumpkin clean. He and daddy got an assembly line going and had the pumpkin cleaned in no time flat. Liam also discovered that he REALLY likes candy. Actually, there isn't much he doesn't like but candy certainly ranks towards the top of the chart.

Liam dressed as an adorable, I mean ferocious lion. He couldn't have been any cuter. The big awaited night came and prooved to live up to all the hype. The night started with dinner outside with neighbors and friends. We then loaded up Liam and his friend, Ellianna into the wagon and proceeded to go trick-or-treating. Our plan was to go to 2 or 3 houses but the kids loved ringing the bell and sorting through the candy baskets at each door that we hooved it around the neighborhood. Liam enjoyed some skittles and M&Ms (and daddy skimmed off of Liam's rations-he said that was his fee for pulling the wagon most of the way!) Needless to say I brushed his teeth twice as good that night and he fell asleep ever so soundly. Each day is filled with joy and excitement but we are all anticipating the Thanksgiving arrival of Liam's aunt/uncle and cousin whom he hasn't met yet. We can't wait!

Mmmmmm...pumpkin guts and a chocolate bar

ROAR! Note my adorable pumpkin that my big sister, Jenna, painted just for me.

My sister Jenna is holding my friend, Ellianna and my sister Lauren is holding me!

Daddy says not to get too used to the wagon because I'll have to walk next halloween. Mom say's we'll have to see about that!
